What is Neighborhood Watch?

It is simply neighbors helping neighbors, watching out for each other and most importantly, reporting activity that raises their suspicions to the police and Area Captains.

Our neighborhood watch is based on the premise of neighbors getting to know each other as well as passing on crime related and crime prevention information.

The level of response and surveillance from our police department is directly tied to our neighborhood reporting of suspicious activities.

Our neighborhood partners with local law enforcement in keeping our neighborhood well connected and safe.

The success of our Neighborhood Watch is dependent on everyone being an active member.

Our neighborhood watch includes one Coordinator,  Area Captains covering specific streets or street blocks, and involved neighbors like you.

The Coordinator and Area Captains volunteer their time to the watch program. Below are the guiding principles that govern our watch program:
