Good Afternoon-

This year, there have been 41 total First Degree Burglaries (a break-in when someone is at home) city-wide (23 in District 3) where cars car keys were stolen and the victims car was stolen.  The trend shows that the burglaries occurred Monday- Friday between the hours of 3 and 5am usually when the victims were sleeping.  We are actively investigating with other districts involved.

That being said, when you are going to bed, please make sure that all of your first floor windows and all sliding and exterior doors are secured.
