Reported by the Block Captain of 3000 Oxford Drive:
”This morning, very early and while still dark, I was sitting on my porch when I saw a person walking along Oxford Drive (3000 block) with no flashlight. He turned and started walking down my driveway. I immediately turned on my porch light and asked what was he doing. He said he was looking for his dog then went back up the driveway onto Oxford towards Bexley, now with a head light turned on. I called 911; for those who have video cams, please check for unusual activity that may have occurred this morning.”
This morning I received an alert notice regarding a lost shepherd dog. The family lives off Hope Valley Road. The suspicious activity report may be the person searching for his dog.
Just an update- a neighbor at 3009 Oxford told me that someone had gone through things in his unlocked car some time last night; possibly the person I saw… Remember to lock your car doors! Thanks, Mary Ann
I’m in 3100 block of Oxford and saw flashing lights on side and in front of my house around 4 AM on morning of 30th. Several nights previously, I saw flashing lights in back of my yard in middle of night.
